Promoting British Values and the Prevent Duty

At Rosegrove Nursery School and Pippins, we provide a safe learning environment where children learn democracy, tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs, mutual respect, individual liberty and the rule of law. Schools have a legal duty to prevent young people from being drawn to terrorism. This duty is known as 'The Prevent Duty' for schools.

All our staff have attended a 'Workshop to Raise Awareness around Prevent' (WRAP) training provided by Lancashire Constabulary Prevent Team.
